Green Wash. It bothers me. But does it bother you?

Green Wash is the term used when large brands decide to ‘get fluffy’ with the Press and busy consumers. The big, famous, rich brand launchesĀ a token product in their store that looks eco-friendly and ethical but after closer examination, the large brand misses the point, for example selling T-shirts made from Fairtrade cotton but the shirts were manufactured in a ’sweatshop’.

Hmmmm.

Did THEY try to be ethical for once and couldn’t get it quite right on that occasion or are they playing with the consumer?
