Sarah Pearson Cooke produces hand dyed textiles using the traditional Japanese method of Shibori, in combination with her personal interpretations of resist dyeing. She then develops the textiles into one-off wearable fashion garments such as silk wraps and scarves as well as products for the interior such as silk screens/room dividers and ambient lighting for the home.
The Spring/Summer 2009 collection is of Shibori hand dyed silk scarves and soft furnishings using both ethical and peace silk fabrics which are dyed using natural dyes.
