Every year a list is published of the World's Most Ethical Companies also referred to as WME. These companies have proven to encourage ethical business standards and practices in their own companies as well as throughout the world.  In 2013, 145 companies made it to the list across many different industries. For the last six years twenty three different companies have made the list consistently which includes such names as Starbucks, American Express, Fluor, and Patagonia to name a few.

World's Most Ethical Companies in the United States

The US had several different companies on the list including Adobe Systems Incorporated, Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Cleveland Clinic, Honeywell International Inc., and Rockwell Automation, to name a few. Germany, Canada, and India had two companies on the list including Henkel AG and The Rezidor Hotel Group in Germany,  Encana Corporation and ENMAX Corporation in Canada, and Tata Steel Ltd and Wipro Ltd in India.

Other companies on the list include All Good Organics in New Zealand, Atlas Copco AB in Sweden, Autoridad del Canal de Panama in Panama, Coloplast A/S in Denmark, EDP Energias de Portugal in Portugal, illycaffè in Italy, National Australia Bank in Australia, Natura Cosméticos      in Brazil, NYSE Euronext in the US and the Netherlands, SingTel in Singapore, Stora Enso in Finland, and William E. Connor & Associates Ltd. in Hong Kong. Switzerland also had two companies on the list which are ABB Asea Brown Boveri Ltd and Swiss Re. Ireland has two companies as well including Accenture which is a business services and CRH plc which is a construction company. All of these companies and ones not listed need to be congratulated for their help in providing ethical practices, products, and services to consumers worldwide.
